After a terrific 5th place finish at Oulton Park in the last round of the Pirelli Moto National Superstock 1000 Championship, Jordan Weaving is looking forward to heading back to Donington Park to make up for what he calls ‘unfinished business’.

Round four of the Superstock 1000 championship this season is on the undercard to the World Superbike weekend at the world renowned circuit, and with the world’s media looking on there’s no better time for Weaving to make another step forward on the Briggs Equipment Lee Hardy Racing Kawasaki ZX-10RR and showcase his talents in front of a global audience. The circuit in Leicestershire was the venue for a less than auspicious start to the season for the current Superstock 600 champion when he first swung his leg over the Kawasaki as the season got underway in late March. But following impressive performances in the following two rounds, Weaving says the experience he’s gained from those progressively positive results in rounds two and three now stand him in good stead for a very promising ride in this weekend’s 100-mile race. “I’m really excited, I feel like we have some unfinished business after round one of the Championship and we have to come back and fight to right that.” He continued: “The 100 mile race is something I’m really looking forward to as well, as it will be the first one I’ve done so far. Some people may say I’m on the back foot a little with it being my first big race distance in the class. But I’m really looking forward to getting out there on the bike and getting going. “I’ve been training extremely hard for this one and I’m really looking forward to riding again after the little break we’ve had since Oulton Park. “Unfortunately, we don’t get as much time out on track this weekend as we do in British Superbikes, so we have to get on the pace a little quicker than usual. It puts us under a little bit of pressure but the main thing is enjoying our riding and as I say, I’m looking forward to it because I know I’ve got the right team behind me to set up the bike in the right way so we get the best out of things across the weekend.”
